ShengShou Gem 4x4

Unfortunately, I have to give this 4x4 only 1 star. It is not of good quality. The pieces kept falling off every time I started solving. No fixes have worked in keeping them together. Such a shame.

I got back into cube solving shortly after I retired in June 2017. The only cubes I possessed were a Rubik's branded V2 (not their speedcube but a tiled version, rather than stickers) and a magnetised Yuxin Magic 3x3 just after New Year this year.

I wanted to push myself a but further, so purchased this cube on the recommendation of Luke Terzich. All I can say is, "WOW!"

I love the textured finish, the turning speed and smoothness staight out the box. Great cube overall.
