MonsterGo 352 (Magnetic)

As a 34-year-old beginner, I absolutely love this cube! Over the years, I’ve had all sorts of cubes, including 2x2s. I even owned the smart GoCube 2x2 that connected to my phone, but I found it a bit too easy. More importantly, it felt sluggish, didn't perform well, and didn't even turn nicely. It wasn't anywhere near the quality advertised, so I actually ended up returning it within a couple of weeks of owning it.I really wanted more of a challenge, and I'm so pleased I decided to step up to a 3x3 instead of just upgrading to the GoCube 3x3 version. Going with a normal cube is way better than something that connects to your phone! I am so glad I went with GAN (via their budget line, Monster Go) because the difference is night and day. The quality is absolutely over the top. Once I get really good with a normal cube first, I might consider getting a GAN smart cube that connects to my phone, but that depends on if I even need the connectivity later down the line.Don't let the branding fool you—even though the Monster Go Magnetic Mini is technically targeted towards children, you would never know it just by looking at it. It looks exactly like any other high-quality cube on the market and is the perfect size if you have smaller hands.The performance is incredible. It moves vastly better than the original Rubik’s Cube, outperforming the official Rubik's speed cube version from a few years ago. Because it features magnetic positioning, the layers click into place beautifully, making it exceptionally smooth and stable. It has a great frosted finish rather than a cheap glossy look, the colours are nice and bright, and it fits perfectly into my standard Rubik's Cube-style pouch.I was also highly impressed by the fast shipping from KewbzUK—it arrived the very next day! Even though I've gone on and off wanting to learn over the years, I have finally learned how to solve it. I am so pleased that I can just pick it up and do it now, and I can't wait to start getting quicker. It is well worth the price, and I highly recommend it to beginners of any age.
